I have been fascinated by the Paranormal and Electronics since I was very young. I strongly believe that someday soon we will discover a way to communicate with those who have chosen not to move on.

My first major experience with the Paranormal was in the U.S. Coast Guard. Two of us were performing CPR on a man who’d suffered a heart attack. When he died I felt his soul pass though me where I could feel the mixing of his thoughts with mine. It took me several days to come to terms with what happened and it changed my life forever.

I have lived in Alaska for over 30 years and love everything about our beautiful state including it’s haunted history. I also love to visit haunted hotels when I travel and my favorite Paranormal encounter was at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. We stayed in a room on the haunted floor and the first night I was awoken by a voice by my nightstand saying “What was that?” There were then footsteps walking back and forth overhead. The next day I looked up from down below only to find we were on the top floor with nothing above us except the roof. That same voice was caught on a recording the next day as I was napping. It said “Wake up, wake up”. I love investigating the Paranormal and finding answers to the unanswered questions that are out there!

Although I consider myself a Skeptic, when I am alone in my house I sometimes think I hear a woman saying my name.  Paranormal or my own ego.. Not sure.

I’m probably the last person you’d think would be investigating paranormal activities as I’m actually a huge chicken. My mom, Susan Weir, actually got me involved and my quizzical, scientific mind became fascinated with who, what, why, and the how of these activities. I have seen ghosts before, and had thought I was losing my mind because there’s no way I saw what I clearly had seen in front of me. With each sighting, voice, and feeling, I have more questions than answers and that doesn’t sit well with my geek brain. It is fascinating to experience new paranormal activities and try and devise ways to help understand and better capture these events. It would be nice to someday be given the operations manual to the human body and soul so we can fully understand how we work, but until then the puzzle is still missing thousands if not millions of pieces, and the fun is finding them!

Carly Petal – Evidence Analyst

-Born and raised in Alaska
-Graphic Designer/Event Coordinator
-Professional Musician

I’ve always been fascinated by things that can’t be explained. I definitely consider myself a skeptic, and I’ve never had a paranormal experience that has convinced me of anything. However, I do think there are things out there that we don’t understand, and that’s what drives my curiosity. I’m a local history buff, I can’t get enough of old houses and buildings, and the stories behind them. I’ve also got a thrill-seeking streak a mile wide, not really scared of much besides bears and cancer, so ghost hunting is a perfect pastime for me.

I’ve been interested in the paranormal my entire life. Being sensitive to the paranormal seems to run in my family.  My family members have seen full apparitions and I have also had many paranormal encounters. The scariest included seeing a dark mass at a pizza parlor where I worked move around me, and ended up in the corner. I thought  I was imagining it until my co-worker reported seeing it too. My hope is to not only find proof of the existence of paranormal activity, but also to help others understand what they are dealing with and not to fear it.

Shirley Champagne – Evidence Analyst

– Shirley works part time in a medical office.
– Born & raised in California.
– Moved to Alaska in November 2014.

I’ve been interested in the paranormal for about 10 years. I’ve had experience with a few paranormal groups, and have participated in several group investigations. The more investigations I go on, the more I learn about techniques, and the more I experience. I love visiting haunted locations such as Preston Castle, The Fallon Hotel and Alcatraz. However, my favorite place to go is Gettysburg, Pennsylvania without a doubt. I have been going there every year for the last 7 years. I am excited to learn more, and be part of a team that can help people understand what is happening around them.
